Supporting good causes and the people making a difference
Some causes are particularly close to our hearts
Over the years, Paul has got to know people doing remarkable work for communities, wildlife and the environment, both here in the UK and further afield.
Supporting these organisations is a personal commitment, whether that means providing practical help, contributing financially or simply giving time to a cause that matters.
Causes close to our hearts

Future Trees Trust
Helping Britain’s trees thrive
Future Trees Trust supports research into healthier, more resilient British trees, helping protect our woodlands for future generations.
Paul’s involvement grew from a shared love of the countryside and a friendship with the charity’s team. He helped source and fund a four-wheel-drive pickup, enabling researchers to transport equipment and reach woodland sites that would otherwise be difficult to access.

Herts Young Homeless
Helping young people find a way forward
Herts Young Homeless supports young people facing homelessness, family breakdown and difficult circumstances, helping them find stability and build a better future.
Paul first encountered the charity through a client and was deeply moved by the experiences of the young people it supports. He contributes to fundraising activities and provides practical help, including vouchers for young people who need them.

Wildlife SOS
Protecting and rescuing wildlife in India
Wildlife SOS rescues and rehabilitates animals in India, including elephants that have experienced years of captivity or mistreatment.
Paul’s connection with the charity is particularly personal. In 2024, he travelled to India to volunteer at one of its elephant and sloth bear rescue centres and see the work first-hand. He continues to support its elephant conservation and welfare programmes and is looking forward to volunteering there again in 2027.

Dogs 4 Rescue
Giving rescue dogs another chance
Dogs 4 Rescue provides a different approach to dog rescue, offering a more natural, open environment for dogs that need patience, rehabilitation and a safe place to recover.
After visiting the rescue and meeting some of its residents, Paul was struck by the dedication of the team and the difference their approach makes. He supports the charity through practical donations, including essential supplies for the dogs in its care.

Acts Trust
Supporting people and families in Lincoln
Acts Trust tackles poverty, food insecurity and social isolation through practical community projects in Lincoln.
As a local organisation, its work is particularly relevant to Paul. A visit to its community grocery impressed him, especially the dignity and choice it offers people facing financial difficulties. He’s keen to contribute his time and professional experience to support its work.
Making a difference where we can
These organisations work in very different areas, but they all share a commitment to improving lives and protecting what matters.
We’re pleased to support their work and encourage you to find out more about the difference they’re making.
